Week 4 Friday Report

Phase: Concrete footings.
After spending the past 2 weeks dealing with weather, and material supply problems we are back on schedule and have completed the week with a set of rebar cages that by Monday will be ready for inspection by the city. Since Monday most of the work completed has been focused on bending and tieing in the steel that will form the rebar cages for the retaining walls of the iT House.

An unknown that occured on the site this week was the discovery of additional roots in the area where the slab is due to be laid. A Monday morning meeting with the soils engineer will either turn this into a problem or something to ignore.

Week 4

Rebar finally shows up on site and layouts are placed and tied.

Week 3

Excavation work is completed, but rain and postponed rebar fabrication slows the project to a temporary halt.

Week 2

Grading work begins on the hillside for the 11' high retaining wall at the back. Also, footing excavation begins for the rebar layouts.

Week 1

Demolition begins on the existing pool patio, jacuzzi, and outdoor BBQ area.
